How To Get Free Custom-Curated Guitar Lesson Videos

Free Guitar lessons

I’m excited to announce a major update to the GuitarLessonVideos website! I’ve redesigned the platform and added a brand-new members area. By joining for free, you can access custom-curated playlists tailored to your guitar learning preferences and get personalized help with additional resources to make the most of your practice sessions. Here is how it works:

Your Personalized Lesson Page

Each member gets their own personalized lesson page, where they can track their progress, access their playlists, and find all their resources in one place. The page content is unique, and based on your responses to the sign-up questionnaire. It’s broken down into the following sections: Guide, Timer, Tuner, Playlist, Resources, and Feedback. It’s simple. Here’s a quick rundown:

  • Guide

Set the timer, tune up your guitar, and practice the first lesson on your playlist. If you have any questions or need help, please ask in the comment section on your private page. When you’ve finished the video lesson or had enough, fill in the feedback questionnaire for help or to add another video lesson to your playlist.

  • Timer

Start the timer at the beginning of your practice session. Aim for at least 30 minutes every other day of the week. Timing your guitar practice sessions helps you stay focused and ensures consistent practice, which is crucial for building muscle memory and improving skills. It also allows you to set and achieve specific goals, keeping you motivated and on track.

  • Tuner

Tune up your guitar every time you pick it up. It’s much easier to play when it’s in tune, and the audience will thank you! Regular tuning helps you develop a better ear for pitch and makes practicing more enjoyable. Tuning is a skill unto itself, so be patient and reach out for help if you need by sending me a message.

  • Playlist

This is where the magic happens! Your custom-curated playlist is initially created according to the preferences you shared when signing up. Start with the suggested video lesson, then the playlist will grow, and be refined based on your following feedback.

  • Resources

If you need additional resources, just ask or follow suggestions. They may include guitar tabs, sheet music, chord diagrams, apps, blog posts, or anything relevant to help you overcome difficulties and get through the lesson.

  • Feedback

To add more videos to your playlist and address any questions, complete the feedback questionnaire and hit the ‘Submit’ button. Check back later and read the comments section for answers to your feedback.

Is This Service Free?

Yes, it’s free, but if you feel it’s worthwhile I encourage you to donate whatever you can afford. There’s no algorithm or AI robot at the other end building your playlist or giving you valuable feedback – just a human like you!

Learning creative arts, such as playing an instrument, involves both technical skills and personal artistic expression. No single guitar book or method is a perfect fit for everyone. By tailoring a pathway to suit your musical tastes and current level and adjusting with ongoing feedback, you’ll achieve results more quickly and enjoyably.

So, there’s no cost? That’s up to you to decide! I’m offering my time and experience to personally guide you through the vast maze of free online guitar instruction, finding material that resonates and delivering it in incremental steps of difficulty.

Most people are happy to pay when they receive value from a product or service. The only commitment is to yourself, so there’s nothing to lose. Give it a try, and if you’ve gained something worthwhile, your contribution will be greatly appreciated!
